| Why are we all chasing after achieving biological immortality? |
| All living systems on our planet can build themselves
up from a seed, and routinely repair themselves. Ageing is therefore
presumed to be a byproduct of evolution, so why our physical mortality
should not be achieved remains a subject for debate. How then to stop creating the cellular death urge? My search then came to a stop, since I needed to explore what makes us feel good. I allowed for my higher self to travel the internet. What an amazing way to explore our world. Not only were my many questioned answered by different people. The way I perceive the information, and the way I translate it for myself is where the secret lies. In my research the I repeatedly came across the word Telomeres. So I looked it up. A telomere is a region of repetitive DNA at the end of chromosomes, which protects the end of the chromosome from destruction. After looking at the powerpoint, and listening to a video by C. Norman Shealy, MD, PhD speaks on Telomere Rejuvenation Key to Health and Longevity I was impressed. The rest of my day was taken up with the writing of my own journal. Why? Because the video awakened in me a memory of an experience that I had completely forgotten, or had stored away. Had I evoked a long ago memory, so I could at a later date deal with the information? Again the wisdom behind POWAH to write my journal about my personal ascension journey, started to make more sense. Especially when Liesbeth rewrites my experiences into a novel. Coming back to my article, and to the question as to why are we of
the Jaarsma clan all chasing after achieving biological immortality?
My answer is simple. It's my soul purpose. It totally fills my passion.
It's almost as if my intent, that came into its own power during 1995,
was my reason for incarnating into a human body during our times. Evolution of ageing We all know that a forthright belief in immortality of the body is rare. Immortality of the soul is held generally by believing in an afterlife, in which the souls of men lived on, but generally only the gods were considered truly physically immortal. Who were these Gods? When I learned that we have many energy systems within us, and that there are myriads of galaxies within our body, I then recalled that our ancestors knew this! They were these Godlike beings. Not our supreme creator, rather they were , like us co-creators, but more advanced in the science of light particles. Our body is truly a living microcosmos as well as a macrocosmos. Modern theories on the evolution of ageing include the following: An` individual body must allocate energy for metabolism, reproduction, and maintenance, and must compromise when there is food scarcity. Compromise in allocating energy to the repair function is what causes the body gradually to deteriorate with age. Even replacing biological organs with robotic ones could increase life span (e.g. pacemakers) and depending on the definition, many technological upgrades to the body, like genetic modifications or the addition of robots would qualify an individual as a cyborg. Such modifications would make one impervious to aging and disease and theoretically immortal unless killed or destroyed. Is there such a thing as having a death urge? Currently, physical immortality remains a goal; many say it is not a current reality, some claim that it is. Active pursuit of physical immortality is either based on scientific trends, or because of a spiritual belief. I've tried to steer away from the word belief and would rather call it an intuitive knowing that physical immortality is linked to an intent. We are not alone. There are many mystical and religious pursuits of physical immortality.
